255th Day- 5/11/2011

Today is Saturday. I woke up early to make sandwiches..AGAIN for Fei San and Lock See. This weekend, Lock See will come to Switzerland and she will stay with Fei San :D

This time my host mum helped me to boil egg and I made egg and tuna sandwiches :D It was so much fun, because my host dad was in the kitchen and kept commenting on the procedures, and the point is himself know nothing about kitchen :D

The bus that I usually took to the train station came 5 mins late and I missed the train :(.  I waited 30mins in the train station, luckily I downloaded many videos in my phone :D Around 12pm, I met with Lock See, Fei San and a girl from China. Her name is Qilin and she is in the same school with Fei San! Because og her, Lock See got to get a one day GA and it really helped her to save a lot of money :D

We walked around Zurich. When we walking to the church, there was a China girl asked us for help. Her camera cover drop into the river and she asked us to hold her. The water was so cool and the wall to the river is bit high. Luckily, she managed to take it! It was a really special 插曲(interlude?).

We took photos and talked a lot :D I was so happy because Lock See kept saying Switzerland is so pretty and I am so proud of it!!Around 2pm, we went up to the University of Zurich with Polybahn :D The university is really big and like harry potter's school! We have lunch in their outdoor canteen!! Luckily, they said that my sandwiches tasted nice :D Hehe..

 After lunch, we met with Zen! Zen went for a party until 5am, that y he woke up so late! Actually, we planned to take the ship but the time didnt suit us. So, we just found a place and sat down :D

Around 4pm, we took the train back to Basel because Fei San need to join an AFS gathering! This week, basel has a big fun fair, Herbstmesse, that why the exchange students in Basel meeting up to go there! There are really a lot exchange students in Basel, so much more than my state!! I met some new friends!

The fun fair is super duper big, I think is 5 times bigger than the one in Kreuzlingen! The coolest thing is I met with a Swiss girl that went to Malaysia for her 1 year exchange programm! and she was the classmate of Lock See when she was in Malaysia!! The worls is so small!! She is the only Swiss people that went to Malaysia and she studied in Assunta!! So near to my school! It was super cool to hear that her favourite food in Malaysia is nasi lemak and roti canai! She wore sari for at least 5 times and she miss mamak and spicy food!!She even can understand when we spoke in Malay :D

 Qilin and I took a ride on one of the XX (dunno how it call) . It was not super scary but it made me headache and I get lost for once :( But overall, the fun fair and to meet with new people was super fun!

After the fun fair, we took the train to Luzern, another nice city. But we not able to see much, because it was night and only lights! But was cool that we bought some snacks and sat beside Luzern lake. We shared our opinions of the exchange year and some private life :D So nice so nice!
