Sushi sushi sushi. Because I missed it, I called Naoko and we met up to make sushi. Actually, I planned on spending the whole day in Zürich with Naoko but yesterday I found out that there was going to be something special going on in Kreuzlingen around 4pm. Therefore, we just met up for 3 hours and used super speed to make sushi.
Before we went to Naoko's house, we waited at the train station because one of the exchange students, a Latino, needed to borrow money from Naoko! But it really surprised me that Naoko took out money from bank and let her borrow it! The Christmas decorations in Zürich were super nice, especially those big big Christmas trees!! But too bad I didn’t have time to take photos.

The sushi-making session was not bad. We talked while making it!! Naoko's house had a really Christmas atmosphere; they had quite a lot decorations!! Her host mum purposely made an Advent calendar for Naoko and her host sister! Every day she receives a small present, and it goes until Christmas day. I was so jealous! This time, I brought a container, so I could bring some home and let my host parents try. Due to the fact that I needed to catch the train, I spent just 15mins eating sushi with Naoko's host family. We rushed to the train station but didn’t manage to catch the train! :(

Luckily, I didn’t miss the special Christmas event in Kruezlingen. This event was about Santa Claus. Switzerland's Christmas has nothing to do Santa Claus, and Santa Claus came on 6th of December. The Santa Claus distributes sweets, chocolates, peanuts and MANDRINS to the people! Today, on Kreuzlingen’s main street there were 10-20 Santa Clauses. Although it was raining (lightly), the event still seemed special to me! First time to see Santa Claus in real life. My host dad told me that in Switzerland they have Santa Claus organizations and they go around Switzerland to bring joy and fun to everyone.:D
